Hi! I’m Bianca Velasco, the proud owner and Director of Like Home Learning Center. Fernando Velasco is also owner and my life-long partner. We have been happily married for four years. We have two daughters, Sophia and Fernanda. I am also a bonus mom to his two children, Yuliana and Zaid. We also have two, four legged members of our family, Chulo and Bella.
When I am not working we like to take walks in the park and explore new places around our community. Both my daughters and I are part of a local Aztec dance team. This has definitely become my favorite hobby as I get to grow my relationship with my daughters, stay fit, and have fun all at the same time! Lastly but most importantly, I LOVE TO TRAVEL! I have visited many places in Mexico but have also visited Colombia, Costa Rica, Peru, and Canada. Can’t wait to add more countries to the list.

In 2019, my husband and I decided to become business partners and wanted to invest in a business. I was currently working in a very popular childcare center, but was not happy. Both my husband and I decided to open LH Learning Center because we strongly believe in the importance of providing early childhood care that fosters learning and emotional well-being from a young age. From working in the past in centers that did not prioritize the children and their needs, we just knew we had to do something to make a change and impact our community. After all, we are shaping the minds of our future leaders, teachers, doctors, entrepreneurs, etc.
With my experience in early childhood care and early learning, I have dedicated myself to creating a safe, loving, and educational environment for children and their families. Our goal is to provide a supportive environment where each child can grow, learn, and feel safe. What sets us apart is our personalized approach and exceptional care, ensuring each family receives the attention and love they deserve. We are a small center, with a big heart!

I could not be happier with the care my children receive at this center! The staff is caring, supportive, and pro-active in regards to their practices. The amount of communication from the teachers is outstanding and helps me feel involved with my children's care! Bianca, the owner, has been a pleasure to work with and is a true professional. The teachers are welcoming and warm and they truly care about the children. They also offer nutritious food to the children, which makes me even more happy to see. When I leave my chilren there, I leave knowing they will be cared for like family and that they are in the best hands!
